Bangladeshi man suspected of adolescent rape OKU

Police have arrested a Bangladeshi man to help the case of a young girl with disabilities (PWDs) are raped by the stairs of an apartment in Bayan Baru, near here yesterday.
A police spokesman said the 38-year-old man was arrested at about 5.30pm yesterday after a security guard at the apartment saw the suspect in suspicious circumstances and bring the 13-year-old to the ladder there.
"The security guard informed the incident to the victim's father before him (the father) with some residents find Bangladeshi man and found the suspect with an inert teenagers who have problems," he said here today.
He said the victim claimed raped several times by the suspect before this and was given a salary of RM10 so she did not tell anyone.
Chairman of the Penang CID Datuk Mohd Zakaria Ahmad, when contacted, confirmed the incident and said the boy had been sent to the Penang Hospital for examination.
"Bangladesh guy who works in a factory in Bayan Lepas was remanded for four days to facilitate investigations," he said. - Bernama
